Ivi Anna Buce, the BritCham Executive Director said after the election that each of newly elected Board members will give valuable input and as they come from different industries will add diversity to the composition of the Board.
Three other elected Board Members, Chairman Cameron G. Greaves, Deputy Chairman Robert Kirkup and Seymour Ferreira will continue to serve on the Board together with the British Ambassador’s representative, (currently Sanita Vētra, Head of Trade Department at the Department for International Trade’s Latvia office) and Ivi Anna Buce (Executive Director).
The Chairman of the Board Cameron G. Greaves said: “Congratulations to our new members on their election to the Board. All of us are looking forward to working together both to advance trade and commercial relations between Great Britain and Latvia and also to serve our many members both here and in the U.K. With Great Britain about to invoke Article 50 and serve notice of leaving the E.U., we expect interesting times ahead with lots of opportunities for business while, at the same time, we will fulfil our motto and continue to have fun here in Latvia.”
