Pink Train Foundation Photo Exhibition

October is internationally recognised as breast cancer awareness month and, to mark the occasion, the Pink Train Foundation invites you to attend the opening of their photo exhibition, featuring six women from Latvia who have experienced breast cancer and are prepared to share their stories with others, to raise awareness, to inspire hope and encourage everyone to have regular breast screening. The photo exhibition will be unveiled at the Stradini University Hospital’s new wing (“A-block”), on Wednesday, 10th October at 16.00 hours. All are welcome!

The main aim of the Pink Train Foundation is to raise funds so that women (and men) diagnosed with breast cancer in Latvia can receive professional, psychological support and physiotherapy. The Foundation's objectives also include the organisation of experience exchange for nursing and other staff working with breast cancer patients, as well as issuing informative material to those affected by the disease.
