A new import customs declaration system is being introduced in Latvia

In accordance with the requirements of the European Union (EU) and in accordance with the standards of the World Customs Organization, as well as taking into account new technological requirements, Latvia will be implementing a new import customs declaration filing system.

The new system will provide users with high availability and business continuity, which is especially important for cross-border businesses. It is expected that the preparation of import customs declarations in the new format can be started on June 13 of this year.
