Seminar on the European Green Bond Regulation

BritCham Latvia is delighted to invite our members and partners to a special seminar on the European Green Bond Regulation, part of the Eversheds Sutherland Bitāns and FUTURCENE “Green Finance Series.”
This inaugural seminar, organised in cooperation with the British Chamber of Commerce in Latvia (BritCham), will explore the latest advancements in green finance and their impact on the Baltic region.
At BritCham, we are proud to promote this crucial dialogue on sustainable finance within Latvia’s business community.
The seminar will feature:
- Kārlis Jēkabs Īvāns, Senior Associate at Eversheds Sutherland Bitāns, discussing the legal framework for bond issuance under the new regulation.
- Ieva Kustova, CEO of FUTURCENE, covering EU Taxonomy alignment and best practices for compliance.
- Silver Kalmus, Debt Securities Area Manager at LHV Pank, sharing insights on investor demand and market trends for green bonds.
Following the presentations, a panel discussion will include contributions from esteemed experts, such as Kristiāna Janvare from Signet Bank and Justīne Ignatavičute, Senior Associate at Eversheds Sutherland Bitāns and Board member at BritCham.
