BritCham Academy returns this November
Monday, November 2, 2026 - 09:30
Technical expertise may earn you a place at the table. Communication, confidence and leadership determine the impact you make once you are there.
This November, BritCham Academy returns with four practical workshops designed to strengthen the skills we rely on every day — from emotional intelligence and effective communication to confident presentation, leadership and conflict management.
Led by experienced professionals from within the BritCham community, each workshop combines useful insight with practical exercises that can be applied immediately in the workplace.

Engage an audience — whether one person or a full room
Manage nerves through effective use of body, breath and voice
Communicate your message in a way that builds interest and buy-in

The workshop will explore:
The role of emotional intelligence in professional performance
Your natural communication style and how others may perceive it

How to adapt your approach and build rapport more quickly
How different personalities can work together effectively
The Art of Managing Conflict
Thursday, 5 November | 13:30–16:30

Conflict is a natural part of professional life, yet many of us feel uncomfortable addressing it — or avoid it altogether.
This workshop will help you:
Understand what causes conflict
Recognise your own reactions and the responses of others
See how different communication styles influence difficult interactions
Apply practical techniques for handling disagreement more constructively
Participants attending only the conflict management workshop are invited to arrive at 13:00 for a short introduction to the communication-style framework used during the session.
The Art of Developing a Leadership Mindset
Thursday, 19 November | 09:30–12:30

Leadership is not simply a job title. We all lead something — a team, a project, a conversation or an important piece of work.
The workshop will help you:
Understand what a leadership mindset is and why it matters
Clarify what you personally stand for as a leader
Develop greater leadership presence
Recognise and overcome what may be holding you back
