BritCham Executive Director Farewell Message

Dear Fellow Members,

As you have already noticed, I have been absent from BritCham for a while and it is with mixed emotions that I announce that I am officially stepping down from my position as Executive Director as of Wednesday 22 February 2023.

While I am excited to embark on a new chapter in my personal and professional life, it is difficult to say goodbye to BritCham Latvia which I am and always will be very fond of. As A.A. Milne has said: “How lucky I am to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard”.

During my time here, I have been privileged to serve the amazing BritCham membership network and work alongside a highly respected Board. Together, we have accomplished great things fostering British-Latvian relationship both in terms of trade, networking and culture. I am proud of all that we have achieved, especially during the tough pandemic years and I am incredibly grateful to all members who were and still are here to support their chamber. I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to each and every one of you for your commitment and support over the years. It has been an honour to lead this organisation, and I am deeply grateful for the opportunity.

As I move on to new challenges and opportunities, I will carry with me the valuable lessons and experiences that I have gained during my time here and I hope BritCham will continue to thrive under the stewardship of the new Executive Director once they are appointed.
