Charity festival Highlander Games 2025

Saturday, September 13, in Sigulda at “Svētku laukums” from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM the charity festival Highlander Games 2025 will take place.
BritCham Latvia is happy to invite you to this wonderful event, which we proudly support.
For the ninth year in a row, the festival is organized by the association Cerību spārni (“Wings of Hope”), supporting children and adults with disabilities.
Every year the organizers prepare fun and engaging activities for the whole family, and this year’s Highlander Games will again be filled with entertainment:
Sports activities
Team relays
Inflatable attractions
Educational games for children
A diverse concert program
Dance performances
Crafts and local producer markets
Food court
Lottery and grand prize draw
We warmly invite everyone – young and old – to join and support this meaningful event. For companies, it’s also a great opportunity to use the day as a team-building activity.
By taking part in at least 10 individual or team relays, you’ll also have the chance to win valuable prizes from our generous supporters.
Participation fees for the relays (donations to support people with functional disabilities):
€10 for individual participants
€8 per person in a team
Main goals of this year’s festival:
Support the group home “Cerību māja” (“House of Hope”) – the only home for 14 young people with intellectual disabilities. Cerību māja provides social and emotional support, allowing these young people to live in a safe environment. Much has already been achieved – the grounds have been improved, a small farm established, and a garden set up and cared for by the residents themselves. The next important step is to purchase “Cerību māja” – the property “Kārkli” in Sigulda municipality, so that these young people can continue to call it their home.
Raise donations for the rehabilitation of children and youth.
Raise donations to promote employment opportunities for people with disabilities, supporting specialized workshops and vocational training.
To achieve these goals, we need your involvement!
