Lunchtime Discussion with H.E. Katrīna Kaktiņa, Ambassador at Permanent Mission of the Republic of Latvia to the UN, OSCE and other International Organisations

On 12 February we held a Joint Chamber Lunchtime Discussion with H.E. Katrīna Kaktiņa, Ambassador at Permanent Mission of the Republic of Latvia to the UN, OSCE and other International Organisations in Vienna (International Atomic Energy Agency & Comprehensive Nuclear Test-Ban Treaty Organisation). The event is organised in cooperation with Irish Latvian Chamber of Commerce and Swiss Chamber of Commerce in Latvia. During the discussion, Ambassador explained the structure and the thematic of the International Organisations in Vienna as well as the role and cooperation between the private sector in International Organisations. During the Q&A Session, Ambassador Katrīna Kaktiņa answered different questions, some of which were on the past achievements and future challenges of OSCE and other International Organisations, secodments of Latvian citizens to the International Organisations and advice for future aspiring diplomats.
